Andy McFadden received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Loras College and continued on to receive a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Northern Iowa in 2017. Andy enjoys working in all areas of speech therapy. Andy is certified in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), which uses a small fiberoptic camera system, allowing Andy to observe a patient’s swallowing mechanism and provide crucial information to guide further therapy for persons with swallowing difficulty (dysphagia). Andy is also a trained clinician in the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment Loud (LSVT) program, which is focused on treating patients with neurological disorders, including Parkinson’s Disease, helping them to speak in a louder, intelligible voice. Andy lives in Menominee, Illinois with his wife and children and enjoys working to improve the lives of his patients in his local community.
