The Galena High School Pirates are teaming with Midwest Medical Center to promote prostate cancer awareness, annual screening for early detection, and show support for prostate cancer fighters and survivors. No one fights alone.
Visit the Midwest Medical Center information table at the game and sign up for a free raffle giveaway basket including a 3-Month Midwest Health & Fitness membership.
Wear light blue to show your support. Blue glow sticks will be distributed, and survivors, fighters, and supporters will be invited to take a lap on the GHS track (around the football field) as we raise awareness and stand strong together in the fight against cancer.
September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Men 40+, please be sure to have your PSA levels screened--it's a simple blood test. Early detection saves lives.
